What you need to know
A Dean’s Honour List is an official document which certifies certain aspects of your academic records and is signed by the Dean. It usually involves a check of your disciplinary record. However, we do not report academic probations, warnings, or required withdrawals, and we do not respond to questions regarding your general character.
A notation of “Dean’s Honour List” will be placed on a transcript of the top two students from each cohort across all majors. If the cohort is less than 15 students – one student will be selected.
Some key points to remember:
- Dean’s Honour List is coordinated by the Student Life Advisors (SLA).
- To qualify for the Dean’s Honour List, a student shall be:
- Enrolled and successfully earned course load of 30 ECTS credits (at least 5 classes).
- No grade of I (Incomplete) in any of the courses on the transcript.
- No grade of “F” in any of the courses on the transcript.
- No academic violations or offenses (as identified and described in UCA Academic Policies).
- No disciplinary offenses (as identified and described in UCA Student Code of Conduct).
- The Dean’s Honour List is identified annually after the Spring.
